 Mike came together to play with fellow Welsh ‘ex-patriot ’Rachel Goodwin a few years ago as a duo ; and their enthusiasm soon ran away with itself and turned the combo into a six-piece band with accordion, piano, bouzouki, percussion, drums, flutes, saxes (tenor and soprano) and trombone to form what has been described as a fantastic version of Welsh music coloured with Dixie and Klezmer, reminding one of brass bands in the mining valleys, and with a subtle influence of Breton Kan-ha-diskan...
