Solo
Mike has played and sung as a soloist in music from all over the British Isles and further afield for over thirty years, both in concert and for dancing. He now devotes most of his time to his various group projects but is still pleased to take a solo role (creation of music for special theme shows, or simply playing for local or national dance events. He regularly takes workshop or master-class events in dance music or specifically the diatonic accordion, his instrumental speciality.

Mike can also play solo for Fest noz or for a Welsh twmpath. He also does solo concerts (he has played at the Bogue d’Or Festival, Redon, at St. Jean de Mont, at Pontardawe Celtic Festival, at Douarnenez Maritime music Festival in Brittany and at numerous festou noz and folk club events.

Special Creations
He has also taken part in creating a number of special events for cultural and educational associations :
· Pornic 44 - Creation of a special show presenting the dances, costume and culture of the different Celtic Nations for the local Junior High School, providing music and co-ordinating the different tableaux

· Mauron 56 - Providing Special effects and music (Breton, African and other styles) for the texts (stories, anecdotes, dialogues) relating to everyday life, neighbours, childhood, integration and exclusion etc., written by writers’ workshops in Mauron, France, and in Cameroon. Creating songs for the show based on the texts available.
